Today I returned to the Triton ONE × QQPK Genesis Ticket Freeroll, hoping to secure a place in the Top 14 and advance to the next stage. Unfortunately, this attempt ended in 173th place out of 363 players.

There was a difficult hand along the way with T♠9♠. I called a preflop raise, continued on the flop, and decided to move all-in on the turn. My opponent called, and the river completed a full house for them. It was a painful outcome, especially in a tournament where every chip matters.

Of course, it's easy to focus on the unlucky river, but I also want to look at the decision itself. Was the shove the best option? How much equity did I have against the opponent's range? Could I have found a better way to play the hand? These are the questions worth asking after a tournament.

Poker is a constant learning process. Not every run ends with a ticket or a big result, but every session can help us become better players.
